Carronade

The carronade is a short version of the cannon, boasting a much shorter range and poorer ballistic performance, but making up for it with raw firepower. Carronades are perfect short-range weapons against enemy ships and crew alike, but require getting in close quarters with enemy vessels, which is not always practical or safe.

Overview[edit | edit source]

  • Short range, but very high firepower.
  • Excellent reload speed.
  • Very poor gravity resistance (3).
